An “Angry Birds” backpack was the clue investigators in Florida say they needed after an armed robbery at a convenience store.

The robbery was reported at about 4 a.m. Tuesday and involved two individuals, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.

During the robbery, which was captured on video and witnessed by a customer in the parking lot, two men with guns approached the store clerk and demanded money, deputies said.

“You know what I want,” one man told the clerk as he handed him a black backpack embroidered with an “Angry Birds” character, the VCSO said.

The clerk filled the backpack with money, cigarettes and cigars, deputies said.

Using surveillance video that showed the “distinct backpack,” investigators were able to locate one of the alleged robbers about half a mile from the store.

The man was carrying a backpack exactly like the one used in the robbery and he was carrying a black handgun, deputies said.
