Amy’s Kitchen in Petaluma, California, is voluntarily recalling about 73,897 cases of products.

The recall is based on a recall notice from one of Amy’s organic spinach suppliers that said Amy’s might have received organic spinach with possible Listeria monocytogenes.

Listeria may cause serious illness and sometimes infections in young children, frail or elderly people or others who with weakened immune systems.

Healthy individuals may experience short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

The recalled products were distributed to stores nationwide in the United States and Canada.
