Horrifying video has surfaced of the moment an avalanche wiped out a base camp on Mount Everest following the deadly earthquake in Nepal.
"The ground is shaking!" someone can be heard saying in the beginning of the video. Seconds later, people start running for their lives as snow from the avalanche barrels toward them. The video was uploaded to YouTube by Jost Kobusch, who takes cover with another climber, both cussing in English and German as the avalanche passes.
The group with Kobusch exits their tent and, a few moments later, they discuss heading toward the kitchen tent.
"Oh no!" Kobusch says in the video. "There is no kitchen tent left."
