Alligator captured after killing dog

An alligator that attacked and killed a pet dog was captured Thursday.

Russell "The Snake Chaser" Cavender snared the estimated 10-foot gator in a pond at Blackmoor Golf Course, according to WMBF.

Cavender shared an image of his catch, as well as a message to pet owners:

“Keep them on a leash, people!”
