As bombs went of in the Brussels Airport Tuesday, a heroic airport worker jumped into action, pulling victims to safety.

A photo taken by Ketevan Kardava of the Georgian Public Broadcaster shows a man who is believed to be airport worker Alphonse Lyoura carrying victims to safety.

According to Mashable, the man helped several wounded people. A BBC reporter tweeted that Alphonse was wrapping bags at the check-in desk when the bombs went off.

People across social media are now praising Alphonse for his heroic actions. Photos show him wearing brightly colored pants and a vest, with bloodstains covering him.

“I think we need to focus on #Alphonse, a brave man working at the airport who rescued seven people of more.”
