A Secret Service agent on Vice President Mike Pence’s detail was reportedly caught with a prostitute at a Maryland hotel and suspended from duty.
The Secret Service "is aware of an alleged incident involving an off-duty Secret Service employee," the agency said in a statement to the Washington Post.
The incident happened last week and is under investigation, the agency said.
CNN reported that the hotel manager called police, who arrested the agent when he left the hotel.
He’s charged with solicitation and has been placed on administrative leave.
