A Miami-based model accused of torturing rabbits and chickens in fetish porn videos pleaded not guilty Friday to animal cruelty charges.
The Associated Press reports that Sara Zamora, 28, has been accused of starring in "animal crush" videos, where models kills animals on camera while performing sex acts. Zamora is accused of injuring rabbits' necks with karate chop motions and is also accused of using hedge clippers to cut a chicken's neck.
Another model, Stephanie Hird, 29, faces similar charges and will be arraigned on Monday. Hird allegedly was filmed in provocative clothing crushing live fish and setting injured rats on fire, according to the arrest warrant.
The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals alerted Miami authorities about the existence of the videos.
