Say it ain’t so! Nearly 8,000 gallons of sparkling wine are gone after a fermentation tank exploded in Italy.

A wine distillery had a huge cleanup after one of the tanks holding prosecco exploded, flooding the winery, CBS News reported.

The video was posted to winery L'enoteca Zanardo Giussano's Facebook page last week. The company is in Conegliano, Veneto, Italy.

Some of the comments said that wine lovers would “sacrifice” themselves to help clean up the wine.

Prosecco is popular in the U.S. accounting for 20 percent of the country's sparkling wine sales. It is expected to hit 50 million bottles in 2020, Forbes reported.
