2019 Teen Choice Awards: Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ ‘Spider-Man,’ ‘Aladdin’ big winners
The 2019 Teen Choice Awards were held for the fist time in its 20-year history on the sand at Hermosa Beach, California, where hundreds of fans turned out to cheer for their favorite actors, musicians and athletes and have a little fun in the sun at the same time.
Superhero blockbusters won big at the awards show. “Avengers: Endgame,” won the Choice Action Movie Award, the Choice Action Movie Actor Award for its star Robert Downey Jr and the Choice Action Movie Actress Award for Scarlett Johansson. “Spider-Man: Far From Home” was also a big winner, taking home the award for Choice Summer Movie, Choice Summer Movie Award for Zendaya and Choice Movie Actor Award for Tom Holland. “Aladdin” won big too, winning the award for Best Sci-Fi/ Fantasy Movie, Best Sci-Fi/ Fantasy Movie Actor for Will Smith and Best Sci-Fi/ Fantasy Movie Actress for Naomi Scott. “Crazy Rich Asians” was also a winner, taking home the Choice Comedy Movie award.
