Video: Carly Fiorina awkwardly sings made-up tune for Ted Cruz's daughters

Not only is Carly Fiorina Republican presidential candidate Ted  Cruz's running mate, she's a singer.

At least, she is a woman who enjoys singing.

When she took the podium in after Cruz's announcement in Indianapolis, Indiana, Wednesday, Fiorina made up a tune to celebrate being able to see Cruz's daughters, named Caroline and Catherine, more often now that she is officially part of the campaign.

"I won't bore you with any more of the song," Firina said. "But they have four verses -- Caroline and Catherine, love you girls!"

Although the audience seemed amused, Twitter was mostly confused.

This wasn't the first time Fiorina has shown her knack for making up songs on the spot. She sang about a lazy dog on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in September.
