Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is Donald Trump's choice for vice president. Trump made the announcement himself Friday morning via Twitter.

Trump was scheduled to announce his pick for vice president Friday morning in New York, but Thursday evening Trump posted on Twitter than he would postpone the announcement after the terror attack in Nice, France.

Trump held a news conference Saturday morning to formally introduce Pence as his running mate.

In addition to Pence, Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie were believed to be Trump VP finalists.
