After Republican presidential candidate and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush toured a gun manufacturer facility in South Carolina Tuesday, he was given a gun with his name engraved on it. An image of the gun was posted on Jeb Bush’s Twitter account, along with a one-word caption: “America.”

The results were not likely what Jeb Bush’s campaign staff had hoped for. Instead of patriotic replies, the Twitterverse responded with humor and serious opinions on gun violence in America.

Bush continues to struggle in the polls and is looking for ways to energize his campaign ahead of the South Carolina primary and Nevada caucus.
