It seems the Republicans are having a bit of trouble selecting the next speaker of the house, so one Democratic congressman is trying to help.

Many were surprised when Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy abruptly withdrew from the House speaker race Thursday, leaving the Republican party scrambling to find a viable candidate.

Rep. Mark Takano, D-Calif. posted on his Twitter page a mock Craigslist ad to broaden the search for the next speaker.

The ad states that responsibilities include keeping the government open and maintaining women’s access to health care, while requirements are “proven ability to work with irrational people who pursue narrow priorities at the expense of millions of others” and “babysitting experience.”

Speaker John Boehner says he will remain in his position until his successor is chosen.
