Three people were killed late Tuesday in a fiery car crash in Clay County, Florida.

The crash, according to News 4 Jacksonville, happened on State Road 100 near the border of Clay and Putnam counties.

A pickup truck ran off the road while attempting to pass another vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The pickup hit a tree and burst into flames.

The driver and two passengers were killed. They have not been identified.
