Photos have surfaced on the internet of two masked men holding guns following rapper Young Dolph’s shooting death Wednesday at a cookie shop in his hometown of Memphis.

The photographs of the unidentified shooters were shared to Twitter by Jeremy Pierre, a reporter with FOX13 Memphis

One of the gunmen wields what appears to be an assault-style rifle with a banana clip, while the second suspect is pointing a handgun.

“I have gotten confirmation on the legitimacy of these photos from three separate law enforcement sources showing the gunmen responsible for killing Memphis rapper Young Dolph,” Pierre’s post reads. “In one photo you see the vehicle belonging to Young Dolph.”

Both men were captured on surveillance video in the parking lot as they approached the entrance of Makeda’s Cookies, on Airways Boulevard near Memphis International Airport.

As of late Thursday morning, police had not announced any suspects or arrests in the case.

Each man is wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, gloves, long grey sweatpants and sneakers, with their faces concealed by white masks. An insignia appears to be on a cap worn by one of the shooters.

The 36-year-old rapper, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr., was gunned down late Wednesday afternoon while visiting the store. He had been in town since Monday visiting an aunt who has cancer and was also giving out Thanksgiving turkeys, The Associated Press reported.

“He was inside (Makeda’s), and somebody just rolled up on him and took his life,” said Young Dolph’s cousin, Mareno Myers, according to The Daily Memphian.

The cookie shop was known to be a frequent haunt of the popular rapper, who stopped by the business whenever he was in town, associates of the store said. A week prior to the shooting, Makeda’s posted a video on Instagram of the rapper promoting the store’s cookies.

City leaders have called for a curfew in the wake of the incident, which was the fourth high-profile shooting in the Memphis area in the past two months, reports said.

Young Dolph rapped about being a drug dealer and life on the streets in Memphis, AP reports. He recently performed at a concert at the University of Memphis and has performed during the halftime of a Memphis Grizzlies game.
