A bomb threat resulted in the evacuation of a Savannah hotel Wednesday night.

Local police closed the streets surrounding the Hyatt Regency Savannah in response.
#SPDUpdate SPD and CCSO are investigating a bomb threat at the Hyatt. Hyatt management has evacuated the building while CCSO clears the building. Area roads remain closed. Please avoid the area and be patient while we ensure the safety of everyone affected.

Police alerted the public after 11 p.m. they were investigating a bomb threat.
#SPDUpdate ALL CLEAR at the Hyatt. After a search of the building found nothing of concern, guests and staff of the Hyatt are returning to the building. Both Bay St. and River St have reopened to traffic. Thank you for your patience.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., police gave the all-clear.
No details have been released on the threat’s origin.
