A small passenger plane made an emergency landing on a Florida highway early Thursday afternoon.
According to Lakeland, Florida, police, the plane landed safely on a grass median of Highway 570, also known as the Polk Parkway, near exit 4.
Neither the pilot nor the passenger was injured.
Eastbound lanes of the highway had to close while the plane was removed.
