13-month-old dead after 2-vehicle crash in South Carolina

A 13-month-old child has died after a two-vehicle crash in Horry County, South Carolina, news outlet WSAV reported.

Zalisa Daniels of Longs, South Carolina, died at the hospital after the crash, WSAV reported. It cited Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

At least seven others needed treatment after the crash, which happened about 1 p.m. Sunday near Lee Street, WSAV reported.

A 2015 Hyundai SUV was heading west on South Carolina 90 and crossed the center line before hitting a 2004 Nissan SUV that was going east, Master Trooper Brian Lee told WSAV.

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety is investigating.
