Traffic was jammed on I-75 southbound out of Cobb and Cherokee counties Tuesday morning after police blocked all but the HOV lane to clear a multi-vehicle crash.

The Georgia Department of Transportation reported that the wreck, which happened around 7 a.m. at Cumberland Boulevard, involved five vehicles.

No serious injuries were reported.

Four of the five southbound lanes remained closed for more than 30 minutes, causing major delays back to Wade Green Road.

All lanes were reopened at about 7:40.
