Police are searching for a armed robber who shot a Morehouse College student in the foot during an early morning hold-up.

The unidentified student was not seriously injured by the bullet, which ricocheted off the pavement after the gunman fired a warning shot into the ground, Morehouse police said.

The student was walking on Euharlee Street around 4:30 a.m. with three Morehouse classmates when they were approached by the robbe, armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

Morehouse police ask anyone with information regarding the case to contact them at at 404-215-2666.
