A Paulding County teen reported missing Wednesday night when he didn’t return home from an afternoon of four-wheeling was found safe Thursday morning.

Holden Michael Astrachan, 17, was riding his four-wheeler after school Wednesday behind the Victoria Heights subdivision off Ivey Gulledge Road, Paulding sheriff’s Cpl. Ashley Henson said.

The East Paulding High School student was reported missing about 7:30 p.m., and deputies, aided by a Georgia State Patrol helicopter, searched through the night before finding the teen before 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

“He had a mechanical problem with his four-wheeler,” Henson said. “When he got off, he began walking and got lost.”
