An 11-year-old boy was found safe early Wednesday, more than 12 hours after he was reported missing by Clayton County Schools police.
Monixx Mathieu had last been seen Tuesday afternoon near Eddie White Academy on Panhandle Road in Hampton.
Channel 2 Action News reported that a Lovejoy police officer making a routine check of a Home Depot parking lot around 3 a.m. found Monixx in a shed outside the store.
The boy walked away from his school Tuesday after receiving a bad report card, the station reported.
