A 4-year-old Clayton County boy reported missing Monday night has been found safe and his father has been arrested.

Police issued a Levi’s Call alert for Jaysean Elder after he was allegedly abducted by his father, Sean Elder, around 11 p.m. Monday.

The boy was found safe just before daybreak Tuesday at his grandmother’s house, police said.

Clayton County police Lt. Anthony Thuman told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Sean Elder was taken into custody at the Forest Park home where the boy was found.

Sean Elder was charged with battery, kidnapping, first degree burglary, third degree cruelty against children, obstructing/hindering a 911 call and criminal trespass.
