A missing 11-year-old boy has been found safe, Chamblee police said late Thursday.
A neighbor located the child, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Police had been searching door-to-door Thursday evening for Sebastian Desormeaux, who walked away from his home after discovering that he was locked out after school, his mother told police. He left his book bag and musical instrument on the porch.
He was last seen around 5 p.m. walking along the street and an Amber Alert was later initiated.
