A shooting occurred Saturday afternoon at Cobb County’s Cumberland Mall.

What led to the shooting is unclear. Any injuries that may have occurred are also unknown. But police, whose presence was reported on the scene at around 1:30 p.m., confirmed it was not an active shooter.

Adding that it was an “isolated incident,” authorities noted in a tweet that shots were “not randomly” fired.

Social media users quickly began sharing videos of shoppers fleeing in the food court as shots rang out. They also shared footage of emergency responders at the scene.

Several people online urged others to remain safe as they shop for the holidays. They shared their stories of being caught in the chaos, too.

As police continue to investigate, drivers are urged to stay away from the mall for several hours.
