Police have identified the victims of a double killing at a Lawrenceville apartment, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police say Kory Moss and Stacy Hall were found shot to death inside an apartment at Wesley Herrington Homes.

Channel 2 interviewed relatives of the men. Hall was getting his life back on track, his brother Jaquan Hall told the news station. Moss was described as a hard working good Samaritan.

Gwinnett police Cpl. Michele Pihera said a call about a person shot came in at 9:50 a.m. from the apartment complex in the 1400 block of Herrington Road, off Ga. 316 near Lawrenceville.

Responding officers discovered two men dead inside an apartment, she said.

“Our officers then exited the apartment and waited for someone with a ballistic shield to clear the apartment, to see if there were any other victims or suspects inside,” Pihera said. No one else was found inside the apartment.

She said both victims had been shot, and detectives are investigating the incident as a double homicide.

Pihera didn’t know if the victims were related, or if either man lived in the apartment.
