Meals on Wheels gift certificates available

Forsyth County’s holiday meals gift certificate program is gearing up. Residents can help home-bound seniors by buying gift certificates for food to be delivered through the Meals on Wheels program.

Forsyth County Senior Services Director Judy Theilman says there’s a growing need for the program, as the Meals on Wheels client list has grown steadily in recent years.

Those taking part can provide meals for a day, week, month or year in increments from $3.61 to $938.60.
