A Marietta woman struck by a vehicle Saturday while vacationing with her family in Florida died Monday morning, St. Petersburg police said.

Nicole Donnelly, 24, was pronounced dead at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg from injuries sustained when she was hit by a vehicle in the 300 block of Pasadena Avenue South. She was struck around 11 p.m. Saturday while trying to flag down vehicles after being involved in a domestic dispute, according to St. Petersburg police.

Authorities identified the vehicle involved in the crash as a 2006 BMW and it has been recovered.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed, police spokesman Michael Puetz told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Monday afternoon, adding that if the driver is identified, the person could be charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Other charges also may be filed following the investigation, he added.

Donnelly’s organs will be harvested and donated, family members told ABC Action News WFTS in Tampa Bay.
