DeKalb County police are investigating the shooting deaths of two people late Monday night at an apartment complex on Memorial Drive.
Officers responding to a 10 p.m. report of gunshots at the Soluna Park Apartments found a man and a woman inside a car, both with multiple gunshot wounds, DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said.
Parish said both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the man and woman, who were in their 20s, were being withheld Tuesday until relatives could be notified.
Witnesses told investigators they saw a suspect flee the scene in a car, but detectives have not released a description of that vehicle, Parish said.
Investigators do not believe the shooting was a random, she said.
