Clayton County police are looking for a man accused of shooting a woman multiple times in a front yard, then leaving her to die.

Doris Ann Young, 43, died Sunday after being shot in the yard of a Pine Meadows Drive home, near Morrow, police said Monday.

The shooting suspect, Willie Thomas Mosley, then allegedly left the home in a beige 1993 Mazda 626 with Georgia tag BEF7260, according to police. Investigators believe Mosley, 51, has relatives in the Ellenwood area and could be hiding out.

When taken into custody, Mosley will be charged with murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Clayton County police said.

Mosley is described as 6 feet, 3 inches tall and 230 pounds, according to police.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact Clayton County police at 770-477-3605 or 911. Mosley should be considered armed and dangerous.
