Man shot to death at DeKalb apartment complex

Investigators were interviewing possible witnesses late Friday after a man was shot to death at a DeKalb County apartment complex.

Police went to the Park at Edinburgh complex on Meadowood Drive, near Lithonia, around 5 p.m., Lt. Jeff Rutland with DeKalb police said. Officers found the victim, whose name was not released, dead inside a car, he said.

The man killed was believed to be in his 20s, according to police. There were no bullet holes in the car, indicating the man was shot by someone that had been inside the car, police said.
