The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office Friday identified the motorist killed Thursday when a sport utility vehicle he was driving plunged 15 feet off I-285 onto an adjacent interstate near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

According to College Park police Officer B. Burrell, a Ford SUV was one of two vehicles that collided just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday on I-285 eastbound at Riverdale Road.

The collision sent the SUV over a concrete wall. The vehicle fell 15 feet and landed on its roof on I-85 northbound. The man driving the SUV, Kerry Webb Jr., 22, of Ellenwood, was ejected and killed.

Information was not available on the second vehicle or its driver.

The accident caused delays for motorists on both I-285 eastbound and I-85 northbound for several hours.
