The man hit and killed by a train in south Fulton County was identified Saturday as Tyron Smith, 22, of Union City.
The Union City police and fire departments responded to a call that a man had been hit by a train just after 11 a.m. Wednesday near Westbrook Place and Highway 29, according to police.
Smith was unresponsive when police arrived and the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
