Police identified a man who was fatally shot at a home in southwest Atlanta last week.

The victim was dead when officers and medics responded to the home in the 1400 block of Sherrie Lane around 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 6. The man had been shot multiple times, according to police.

He was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as 25-year-old Jarell Adams.

“Homicide detectives have identified all involved parties and are investigating the circumstances that led to this incident,” a police spokesman said in a statement.

The names of those involved were not released.

A public viewing is set for Friday at noon at the RW Andrews Mortuary in East Point.
