Cobb police said a homicide victim whose body was found in Mableton Wednesday afternoon has been identified.
The dead man has been identified as Alexander Arcides Lara Ayala, 35, of Smyrna.
His body was found in the area of Ivey Road near Vinings Vintage Road.
Detectives continue to investigate the homicide and are asking that anyone with information call 770 499-3945. People can also call Greater Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404 577-TIPS and remain anonymous.
