A 52-year-old College Park man has been extradited from New York to Atlanta, where he is charged with murder.

Martin McGriff is accused of shooting Anthony Holland, 42, of Atlanta, on Jan. 8 after an argument on English Avenue in northwest Atlanta, police said.

He was arrested in New York on Feb. 13 and returned to Georgia.

He had a first court appearance on Valentine’s Day and was denied bond, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan said.

McGriff remains in the Fulton County Jail.
