Clayton County police Friday were investigating an overnight shooting that left one man dead and another in critical condition.

The shooting happened late Thursday night in the 6000 block of Radford Drive, in a neighborhood off Flat Shoals Road near Riverdale.

“When officers got to the home, they found Darrel Agee Jr. in the living room, shot multiple times,” Clayton County police spokesman Phong Nguyen said. “Agee was conscious and alert, but would not provide information about who shot him.”

Nguyen said officers found a second vicitm, Christopher Brown, also inside the home.

Both were taken to Southern Regional Medical Center, where Brown was pronounced dead. Agee was in critical condition Friday, according to Nguyen.

“Officers learned the shooters left the home in a black Infiniti SUV,” Nguyen said.

No arrests have been made.
