A 91-year-old man was in critical condition after a six-vehicle wreck on Ga. 400 northbound at the Glenridge Connector on Thursday afternoon.

The man was on his way home from surgery at the time of the pile-up, which happened just after 4 p.m. He was transported to Atlanta Medical Center, Sandy Springs police Sgt. Ron Momon told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

All lanes were blocked after the crash, but the incident was cleared during the 6 p.m. hour, Georgia Department of Transportation officials reported.
