A pedestrian hit by a vehicle in northwest Atlanta was in critical condition late Tuesday, according to police.
The man, whose name was not released, was struck in the 100 block of Hamilton E. Holmes Drive shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, Officer John Chafee with Atlanta police said. He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
The driver involved stopped at the scene, Chafee said.
It was not known late Tuesday if any charges would be filed.
