Antwan Latrell Thomas, charged with murder after the shooting death of Travis Castile, turned himself in to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Monday morning seven days after the event.

Clayton police reported that the two men, who worked at XPO Logistics, argued over who was in charge. They took their argument to the street outside, where Thomas allegedly pulled out a gun, shot his co-worker in the head and drove away, Lt. Frank Thomas said.

Police found the victim lying in the street.

Sgt. Ashanti Marbury of the Clayton Police said Thomas turned himself in sometime before 9:20 a.m. Police did not know where Thomas spent the last week as police looked for him.

“He did not want to speak to detectives,” Marbury said.
