An apparent accidental shooting in College Park left one young man dead and another charged with manslaughter.

Gerson Eusebe, 23, died at the scene Saturday after he grabbed the muzzle of a pistol that Tequan Joseph handed him and the gun just “went off,” according to Clayton police.

Joseph, 23, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and second degree forgery. Eusebe was handling the pistol that Joseph had recently purchased, authorities said. The pistol discharged when it was being passed between them, police said.

Police also found six counterfeit $20 bills.
