Dunwoody police believe the man accused of assaulting a hotel manager returned in a separate incident and posed as an officer.

A surveillance camera captured a picture of the suspect. Now investigators hope someone recognizes the man, police said Monday.

In December, the man is accused of throwing hot water into the face of the manager of Staybridge Suites, near Perimeter Mall. Then this month, the same man allegedly returned and impersonated an officer, according to police.

The suspect is a frequent visitor to the hotel, and investigators believe he lives in the area, police said. He is believed to be in his 30s, is between 5-foot-7 and 5-9, and weighs between 165 and 185 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact Detective William Yeargin at 678-382-6916 or email william.yeargin@dunwoodyga.gov.
