A Macon minister fatally shot himself outside his home Sunday, a middle Georgia coroner told a Macon television station.
WMAZ reported that the Rev. Teddy Parker Jr., pastor of Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church, was found dead following Sunday morning church services.
Parker’s wife found her 41-year-old husband in the driveway of their Warner Robins home, Houston County Coroner Danny Galpin told WMAZ.
Parker had been pastor of the church since 1997.
The Parkers have two daughters, according to the church’s website.
