While people are upset a Georgia artist hasn't been chosen to perform at the Super Bowl, that won't be the case with the Atlanta Hawks' season-opening national anthem choice.

The Zac Brown Band will perform the "The Star-Spangled Banner" when the team plays the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 24. The choice is fitting, as Zac Brown's Social Club is slated to open soon at the arena.

“Unveiling the future of Hawks’ basketball in the city’s best sports and live event venue is even more historic with these incredible Atlanta stars to begin the festivities,” Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena CEO Steve Koonin said in a statement.

Another hometown musical favorite, hip-hop star Future, will also perform on the court both mid- and post-game.

The game will be the Hawks' first at the State Farm Arena, formerly called Philips Arena, following a multi-million dollar renovation. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the game begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available now.
