Marietta residents, commuters and WellStar Kennestone Hospital employees and visitors will soon have another fast-casual dining option to satisfy their hunger.
Your Pie will open Friday, Nov. 15 at 732 Cherokee Street Suite 300 in Marietta. The restaurant offers custom-made brick oven pizzas for customers.
The location is near the site of WellStar Kennestone Hospital's project to build a new, larger emergency department building on the outskirts of downtown Marietta.
The Marietta restaurant will be the second Your Pie location in Cobb. The first Your Pie opened in May at 2440 Atlanta Road #100 in Smyrna.
Before its official grand opening, Your Pie will host Dine and Donate initiatives from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Nov. 11-13. Up to 1,200 registered guests will be served free pizzas by employees who will be collecting donations for the Scott Shockley Foundation.
The foundation supports funding and research for osteosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric bone cancer. It's named after the 19-year-old Cobb County man who died after a battle with the disease in July 2013. Visit the Your Pie Marietta Facebook page for details on how to register.
Your Pie, which has about 70 restaurants around the country, has locations in Atlanta, Roswell, Milton, Sandy Springs and near Tucker.
