As schools begin and Atlanta summer vacation comes to an end, DeKalb's pools are going to be on a modified schedule through next month.

According to a news release, DeKalb County Interim CEO Lee May announced modified hours for four pools and one aquatic center through Labor Day, Sept. 5.

The following DeKalb County pools will  be open noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 1-6 p.m. Sundays:

  • Gresham Pool, 3113 Gresham Road, Atlanta
  • Lithonia Pool, 2501 Park Drive, Lithonia
  • Medlock Pool, 874 Gaylemont Circle, Decatur
  • Midway, 3181 Midway Road, Decatur

The Browns Mill Family Aquatic Center at 4929 Browns Mill Road in Lithonia will open only on weekends through Labor Day. Pool hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 1-7 p.m. Sundays.
