A 14-year-old boy was shot in the back Saturday night outside Discover Mills, Gwinnett police say.
The teen, who was not identified, suffered injuries that are not considered to be life threatening.
Initial reports indicate an altercation took place between two groups of individuals in the parking lot outside Burlington Coat Factory. During the altercation a gun was produced and several shots were fired, with one bullet striking the victim.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation continues, Gwinnett police said in a press release.
