A 2-year-old girl is in critical condition after a single-car wreck in Waleska on Friday afternoon, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said.

A car driven by 27-year-old Joey Holloway of Canton collided with a tree off Ga. 108 near James White Trail, Lt. Jay Baker said in a news release.

Three young relatives were with Holloway, including his 2-year-old daughter.

The 2-year-old was taken by ambulance to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital before later being transported by helicopter to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite with a skull fracture, Baker said.

A 7-year-old girl has a broken leg, and a 4-year-old has bumps and bruises. Both were taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

Holloway was not seriously injured.

The crash is under investigation, Baker said, and no charges have been filed.
