A 12-year-old boy who vanished from his home on the Cherokee side of Acworth early Wednesday morning has been found safe, police said.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office was seeking the public’s help locating Keylan Quinton Wright, who was last seen at 1 a.m. at his apartment on Gregory Lane, according to the sheriff’s office. He was located safe late Wednesday night.

Sheriff’s deputies and investigators searched the area and passed out fliers in his apartment complex and nearby complexes.
