For middle- and high-school students looking to sharpen their writing skills, Johns Creek’s Northeast/Spruill Oaks Library is offering a six-week, in-depth creating writing workshop for teens, starting Tuesday. Classes will be held every Tuesday at 6 p.m., through Oct. 9, at 9560 Spruill Road.

Led by writing tutor Sarah Calhoun, the workshop will cover ideas, point of view and style, voice, sentence fluency, word choice and editing and revising. It’s open to ages 12-18. Information: 770-360-8820.
